Loyalty/Retention Widget to Celebrate Moments
I go to yoga. A lot. Like, 1000-classes-in-three-years a lot.
When I hit class 996, I looked at the booking app — which keeps count — and thought: something should happen at 1000, right?
But 1000 came and went. Nothing. No acknowledgment. Just a number on a screen.
And I thought — that’s a miss.
Not because I need a gold star. But because the studio I go to genuinely cares about its community, and they have no idea that some of their most loyal members just quietly crossed milestones that most people never reach.
The data is already there. The platform they use tracks every class attended, per member, in real time. There’s even a built-in feature for sending milestone messages — it just isn’t turned on.
So I built something to fix it.
A simple script that connects to their booking platform’s API, cecks member attendance daily, and triggers personalized outreach when someone hits a meaningful milestone. ClassPass user hits 5 visits? Send a membership offer. Long-term member hits 500 classes? Celebrate it. Someone comes back after a month away? Welcome them home.
It runs automatically. Costs nothing to operate. Took a weekend to build and about 15 minutes to configure.
The broader point: most businesses are sitting on engagement opportunities they don’t even realize exist. The loyalty signals are already in their software. The tools to act on them are often already there too. It just takes someone to actually look and connect a few dots.
1000 classes is a lot of loyalty. Someone should probably know when it happens.
